CDC Releases Smoke-Free Policies in Multiunit Housing Manual

April 25, 2011 - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released “Healthy Homes Manual: Smoke-Free Policies in Multiunit Housing.”  The manual is designed for  state and local Healthy Homes programs and the aim is to reduce secondhand smoke exposure in multiunit housing. The manual contains field-tested strategies, recommendations, best practices and tools to address smoking in housing programs. All of the content has been pulled from peer-reviewed research and professional interviews. The manual is available on the CDC Healthy Homes website.
